Government leaders from Mexico, Panama, and Indonesia will convene at the Government Leaders Forum (GLF) from January 29-31, 2025, at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. This pivotal event, hosted in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State, marks the launch of their partnership with the International Technology Security and Innovation (ITSI) Project.
The forum will bring together experts and officials to align national semiconductor strategies with global priorities, featuring an Industry Panel with leaders from Intel, TSMC, and other industry giants. Key discussions will focus on strengthening semiconductor assembly, testing, and packaging (ATP) capabilities and fostering global collaborations.
The GLF will also set the stage for in-country workshops scheduled for early 2025 in Mexico, Panama, and Indonesia. These workshops will train over 44,800 participants across universities and institutions, creating a skilled semiconductor workforce and advancing ATP supply chain resilience.
