Journey into the application of semiconductor packaging, assembly, and test for hands-on experience developing and characterizing traditional single chip packages, their materials, reliability, and their board-level assembly. Topics include leaded (QFP) and substrate-based (BGA’s, QFN’s, etc) packages. Learners will demonstrate skills across using spice circuit and thermal resistance analysis and analytical equations for stress.
